Drugstore + Walmart | Mini Haul

I picked up a few new items at Walgreens and Walmart, and figured this would be a great time to do a mini haul post!

Here’s what I got:

Salon Perfect Perfectly Glamorous Lashes (Walmart)

By recommendation of Nicole Guerriero, I had to try out Salon Perfect lashes in 614 and 615. This is my second time buying these particular lashes, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. They’re exclusively sold at Walmart, so don’t even try looking for them elsewhere, because you won’t find them. On my most recent trip to Wally world, I repurchased 614 and 615, and added 616 to my collection!

*spoiler alertThe 615 lashes miiiiiight be my favorite falsies of all time!

Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Pore Scrub (Walmart)

I was in the market for a new face scrub, and wanted to buy one that wasn’t as harsh as St. Ives. So far I’ve really been liking Neutrogena’s Purifying Pore Scrub. It’s gentle on my skin and has no harsh chemicals, sulfates, parabens – you catch my drift.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes (Walmart)

The Neutrogena makeup remover towelettes have slowly but surely become the main way I remove my eye makeup. Between vacationing and impromptu slumber parties,  I haven’t been home much at all in the past month – so these have been a lifesaver. They’re great to throw in an overnight bag, and to keep in your car just incase.

Wet-N-Wild Lipstick in Cherry Bomb (Walgreens)

I saw this lipstick in a tutorial on Instagram, and immediately knew I had to have it. When you know you know, right? Soulmates, lipsticks … same thing. Unfortunately, the widest variety of Wet-N-Wild products are found in drugstores … and you should know that I hate buying anything from the drugstore. They’re over priced, and I can never remember what phone number my family used to sign up with in 1998 – so I never get to reap in any of the member discounts/benefits.

Cherry Bomb was relatively hard to find. It took going to three different drugstores for me to finally get my hands on it. However, it turned out to be just as gorgeous in real life as it was on Insta, so it was worth the trek.

AND, I can honestly say that I don’t have any color like it!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Foundation in Tan (Walgreens)

Another reason why I dislike buying from drugstores, is because I can never just buy one thing when I’m there (even though I really can’t go anywhere and buy just one thing). When I went to Walgreens on my Cherry Bomb lipstick hunt, I was looking at the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind foundation in the color Tan, because I thought this might be a great shade to contour with. I love how blend-able the Instant Age Rewind concealer is, so I figured I’d give this a try for contouring. I’m excited to see how this works for me.

That’s it for my mini haul! If you’ve recently picked up any new products, I’d love to hear about them.

  1. What city did you find the 614 and 615 in? I am in Las Vegas and have checked 5 Wal Marts and can’t find them. I also checked two stores in the Los Angeles area recently and there were none there either! I was the 615 so badly but don’t want to spend 10x the price on Ebay. 😦
